Research Technology Centre

R&D&I activities are centralized in our technology center, with the research area being one of its key pillars. Within this area, our chemistry and nanotechnology departments work to develop innovative solutions for the diverse and evolving needs of both the civil and military industries. Our team is supported by state-of-the-art laboratories, fully equipped to conduct a wide range of tests and activities

These laboratories are fully equipped to carry out their functions, featuring state-of-the-art materials and all necessary facilities for their proper use. This includes safety cabinets for reagents, fume cupboards, extractor hoods for handling hazardous and/or volatile chemical compounds, eye wash stations, and other essential equipment required for the daily operations of research in a chemical laboratory.

Nanotech

At ALFARIVER’s laboratories, we work with materials at the nanometric scale, including atomic and molecular-sized materials, to create products with highly specialized properties. We develop new materials that modify their chemical and physical characteristics, enhancing mechanical strength, reducing weight, improving conductivity, solubility, hydrophobicity, magnetism, and size/surface ratios. These materials are also utilized as vectors in biomedicine or as components in sensors for the detection and study of molecules at ultra-low concentrations.

We specialize in nanomaterials with a size range between 1 and 100 nm. This size range bridges classical physics and quantum mechanics, where unique effects occur that are not observable in larger particles. We work with metallic nanoparticles, including gold, silver, and copper, as well as binary combinations such as metal oxides
